I picked this place for breakfast because I wanted to check out the farmers market. Sea Pines Shopping Center has a farmers market every Tuesday from 10AM-2PM. I love the look of the place. It's spacious and has artwork for sale on the columns around the place. It had a peaceful vibe to it. We started off with Glazed Yeast Donuts because we were starving. These were pretty good. Different from your normal donut. We liked the crunch and they had a subtle sweet taste to them that lingered in your mouth. My sister ordered the Fish & Eggs. She said they were really good. I didn't try them. I had the Veggie Scramble with 2 extra egg whites and no feta. It was your typical scramble. It was good, but nothing special. We both had the Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuits with our meal. Their made fresh every morning. My sister loved it. I thought it was just okay. The texture was light and fluffy, which that part I liked. Our waitress was nice, but the service was slow and it wasn't that busy. We had to ask for silverware. She also didn't bring us a pen with our check. After 10 minutes of waiting, when she said she would be right back, my sister had to go inside. There are so many good breakfast spots on the island. I don't know if I would return if I wasn't planning on going to the market after.

Disappointed to learn they would not be serving lunch as posted on their website. It took a very long time to be waited on. I get it. No one is normally in there and a busy 4th of July weekend, not used to the volume. The only way to get an order taken or refills was to complain to the man at the register. The staff looked miserable as they paced back and forth out of the kitchen. This was a huge disappointment. Living next door to this establishment, this will make me rethink Sunday brunch in the future.

Very rarely would I give a restaurant 1 star, however this one is well deserved. We have tried this twice...because the place has ever thing going for it. Location, menu, clean and lovely inside. The rub is the service. The first time we never got waited on I went up 3 times we waited and waited 20 min or so. Finally she came over we waited for her to take our order another 20 min. I went up and asked again no luck and they were not busy 3 tables only. Went back the next morning to grab some doughnuts manage came up to register to take our order not pleasant at all. Appeared he was just mad at the world. Would I recommend never.

I'm not sure why this place gets 4 stars because after 30 minutes of waiting for any employee to acknowledge my existence I left this establishment. The restaurant is 30% of capacity and the under resourced staff can't get a menu or take an order from the patrons! Went down the road to lands end and had a,fine breakfast. Hey low country produce...hire hire hire and get tables to turn over!

Very unusual very good. One of those "why didn't I think of that" places. Tucked away in sea pines, they have baked goods, art, fresh local produce, artistic kitchen items and a small delightful breakfast and lunch menu. 5 stars on everything.

Breakfast here is always fantastic! I love the atmosphere and the food! Also the selection of things they have for sale like craft sodas and beers are great! Such a unique and fun place! I always love coming here!

We had lunch on a Wednesday at Noon. Great relaxed atmosphere. Monie was our server. We ordered the burgers. We enjoyed the quality, fresh ingredients and friendly service. We would definitely come back.

My favorite place for breakfast. When we visit our home in sea pines, I always plan on eating breakfast 2-3 times their ... Staff is always very friendly. Breakfast sandwich is awesome ... 2 words -- cheddar biscuit. They have a new bar -- which is great and have River Dog brew on tap... Also great wine selection.

Excellent food, but be warned... Do not go on a weekend (especially a holiday weekend). They are not equipped for turning around a large volume of customers. We waited 15 minutes before we got to order breakfast. Then waited another 45+ minutes to get our food (eggs, bacon, fruit). To their credit though, they apologized and paid our bill. Bottom line, come on a weekday.

Lowcountry Produce is half market/ half restaurant. Their market focuses on farm fresh and local produce and organic products. They also sell their house-made relishes, salsas, jams and sauces. Their restaurant serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I did not eat at the restaurant, but I did buy some things from their market. Really liked this place and wish I had more time on the island to have dined in as well.

Stopped at Lowcountry for breakfast. Food was great! Fresh yeast donuts were amazing and so was the breakfast biscuit. However, service was terrible. Our server took our drink order and didn't return until 15 minutes later. Food came out quickly but our server never checked on us until we were done. Great food just needs better help.

Cute and yummy spot for breakfast or lunch (we didn't make it for dinner). Good breakfast selection - pancakes, breakfast biscuit and French toast were delicious. At lunch, they have a bunch of great sandwich and salad choices. You can pick up some delicious canned soups and salsas. They're still pretty new and seem to need more staff but everyone is very friendly!

Very disappointed. After having a nice lunch there the day before we decided to go back for breakfast. The staff was completely overwhelmed! There were several tables that were still dirty and people waiting to be seated. A young mother and her kids left after waiting several minutes for help. A man behind us finally sat at a dirty table. We were told to wait and then finally told to just sit at a table and they'd clean it up. When we finally sat we were told they were no longer serving breakfast. I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of other options that are just as good.

Worst Service Ever!!! It took forever to get our food, waitress took our drink order, didn't ask everyone what they wanted, just one of us. Took our food order and didn't come back till we were done. She was a horrible waitress. I had my two yr old with me, grateful she was so good for how long our meal lasted.

We have been enjoying the awesome breakfast food and great ambiance since this relative newcomer opened and they are still producing quality comfort food as well as ever. They are usually a little understaffed but worth the extra wait. The few folks working were super friendly and working very hard. Plus they had some gluten free options which is nice. Would have no problem recommending this place

Breakfast was excellent! Coffee & Fresh Squeezed OJ were outstanding, fish n eggs are excellent, blueberry pancakes were best I've ever had. Service was good too - glad Truffles was closed.

Outstanding breakfast! The majority of their ingredients are from local farms, so the fresh tastes are unbeatable. And all of that fresh local produce is available for purchase! There is a farmers market on Tuesdays 10am - 2pm that is supposed to fantastic. Also there is live music Thursdays 5pm - 8pm in summer that I'm anxious to check out.

If there is any justice in the touristy food world of HH, this place will do well. Friendly service, fresh, reasonably priced breakfast and lunch and nicely designed space. We were there for over a week and this was one of our favs for easy, casual grub. Go here!

Lowcountry Produce was a wonderful new surprise when we went to rent bicycles in Sea Pines Center. We ate breakfast there twice. The shrimp and grits, cheddar biscuits, strawberry preserves, and the veggie omelet are all delicious.

This might be my favorite lunch spot in HHI. We ate there for this week on Tuesday and went back for lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Saturday. First, the space is pretty unique with very high ceilings and a market feel to it with Gullah baskets for sale, caned goods, and a limited amount of produce. They also sell craft beer, chips, meats, and side salads to go. The beer selection was small, but good (Oscar Blues, Stone, etc.). The food we had was very good, fresh, and had a farm-to-table feel to it. 1st lunch was a chicken salad with goat cheese and beet chow chow. Very good. The next day I had the Gyro. This isn't authentic Greek Gyro, but it was fantastic. It came with homemade chips which were great. Parents got half tuna salad and the vegetable soup, they loved it. Kids got a hot dog and grilled cheese, cleared the plates. We decided to try breakfast on our way home and it was also great. Not the best breakfast sandwich I ever had, but still good. Others loved their veggies omelets and low-country breakfast. Next trip can't wait to try them for dinner! Nice place, great food, nice people!

Lowcountry Produce is a great market and restaurant in Hilton Head. We ate breakfast there and had yummy doughnuts. They are served hot dipped in a glaze! There is a variety of choices for the meal. Enjoy a great breakfast at the Lowcountry Produce.

Liked it very much. Teenager loved the pancakes, standard breakfast very good and the grits were great, according to the grit-lover in the group. The bacon was great....better than good. Fair price for great food.

Service staff were very polite, however there was much to be desired with the food. The order for crispy bacon translated into burnt bacon. Chef and server did not catch it and served it to us anyways. The smoked salmon omelette was watery and the potatoes served to me were sprouting which was also overlooked again. The side of fresh cut fruit was old as noted by the mushy honey dew, cantaloupe, and pineapple. The ambiance and store accents do not equate to good food. Great location to bike but not worth the trip due to poor food quality.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. My parents live in Sea Pines so I visit a few times a year so finding a new restaurant on the Plantation is good but after trying Lowcountry Produce I can say its great. We went for lunch one day and found the menu selections to be so great that it was hard to choose what to try. We went with the Steak Sandwich (Tenderloin option) and a Build your Burger with Pimento Cheese and bacon. The food was fantastic, great taste and perfect portions. The Broccoli Salad and House made chips were tasty and nice compliments to our sandwich choices. The lunch was so good and the menu so intriguing that we went back the very next day for breakfast. Everyone in our party of 4 loved their meal and the coffee is great. I can personally recommend the fruit pancakes and the house made sausage is damn good! Two other things...The pickles that came on the side of my burger were so good I bought a jar of the spicy pickles to take home. This is surprising thing that sold me on this place...after my lunch visit, I wanted to purchase 2 of the Cinnamon Buns and 2 of the Doughnut Cupcakes, the gentleman worker the counter put my Cinn Buns in the box and as he boxed up my cupcakes he said.."Sir, I am going to be honest, now that I feel these, they are from yesterday and just a bit past their optimum freshness so Im just going to give you these cupcakes for no charge, just put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds and they will bounce right back." WOW! the integrity was a surprise!! So i got 2 more cinnamon buns and headed back to my parents house. FYI about 2 hours later, I put the a cupcake in the microwave and it was delicious. He could have easily saw me a tourist, sold me the cupcakes and sent me on my way but thats not what Lowcountry Produce is about. They have got 2 regulars in my parents and I will always go there when I visit. GO TO LOWCOUNTRY PRODUCE SEA PINES!
